MS-ISAC Partnership Agreement with SANS Institute

The MS-ISAC has a new 2012 partnership agreement to provide discounted pricing for state, local, territory and tribal governments, including government partner entities and educational institutions, during specific timeframes:

SANS Video Security Awareness Training -- Securing the Human:

  • Available online via SANS hosted site or SCORM-compliant for your own LMS
  • Purchasing windows: January 15, 2012 - February 29, 2012 Extended to March 16, 2012 and July 1, 2012 - July 31, 2012
  • To request a test account (one admin and three users) visit: https://www.securingthehuman.org/programs/ms-isac/
  • You must register for the SANS purchasing portal to place your order during the purchasing window at https://www.securingthehuman.org/programs/ms-isac. All orders must be placed through this portal by March 16, 2012

  • OnDemand Group Flex Passes for Long Courses (4-6 days) and/or Short Courses (1-3 days)
  • Universal Voucher Credits

NetWars -- 4 Month Continuous Play

  • Will only be offered if sufficient interest is shown by respondents to SANS survey (Complete the survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NetWars_MS-ISAC)
  • Purchasing windows: Dec. 1, 2011 - January 15, 2012 and November 1, 2012 - December 15, 2012


Each purchasing window will be preceded by a 30 day announcement period during which detailed information and webcast presentations will be provided.
